Our Next Meeting...
The club's next meeting is Thursday, April 18 at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham, 1500 NE 134th St., Vancouver, WA. Our special guest will be Arnie Dyer with the Clark County Men's Shed.
Advancing the health and well-being of older men, Clark County Men’s Shed provides a space where men can pursue meaningful, creative interests and socialize with other men in the process. Men’s Sheds promote informal discussions on health issues and other concerns as men work together on projects or just stop in for coffee and conversation. Clark County Men’s Shed is a place where men can get together to talk, to make friends, to work on projects or other interests, to have fun, and to enhance well-being Men’s Sheds originated in Australia to improve the health of older men who may be at risk of developing preventable health problems which arise from social isolation and loneliness. Professor Barry Golding coined the phrase “Men don’t talk face to face. They talk shoulder to shoulder.” to describe how sheds help promote informal discussions of health issues and other concerns as men work together on projects or just stop in for coffee and conversation. The Clark County Men’s Shed meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month in the Friends of the Carpenter building 1600 W. 20th Street, Vancouver. |

Did you know that all but two countries on the planet have seen polio eradicated? Or that there are THREE reported wild cases of polio in the world from January 1, 2024 through April 8, 2024? That's the impact Rotary has.
